What the Faith Sharers' Forum isAn informal monthly gathering of Christian men who want to be more effective in leading others to Christ─their friends, neighbors, co-workers and other business associates, family members, anyone they know. We come from many churches and denominations, and we're not promoting any of them─only Jesus Christ. Where it isWe meet at Eastside Presbyterian Church (formerly Shannon Forest), 830 Garlington Road 29615, at 6:30 pm on the first Thursday of most months. What we doWe meet in the early evening with a light meal (e.g. pizza) and discuss what's happening in our worlds with respect to faith sharing. Sometimes, one of us presents something he's learned, read, or used, and we discuss it. If anyone has a specific case he'd like to discuss, we're ready to listen and, if appropriate, give advice or feedback. And always pray with him. We sometimes discuss our barriers to witnessing and encourage one another in breaking through them. We always enjoy the fellowship and seek to strengthen our personal relationships. Results we expect and pray forThe main goal is, of course, to see men come to Christ. But we know that witnessing is a great strengthener of our own faith and a source of joy, as we obey the Lord's commands and feel his pleasure. We also want to form good, supportive relationships and enjoy fellowship with others with a burden for lost men. Contacting usClick here to email a question, comment, or suggestion. |
